The Cardinals have some decisions ahead of them as the trade deadline approaches. Their 52-49 record has exceeded the expectations anyone had for a team that looked like they were rebuilding this season. Unfortunately, while that record would have them leading the American League West, they play in the National League Central, where that record has them 11.5 games back of yet another Brewers juggernaut leading the division. The Wild Card picture is a bit more hopeful, where they are just half a game out of the last Wild Card spot, albeit in a virtual tie with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Pittsburgh Pirates. A big four-game series with the Cubs, who currently hold a 4.5 game lead over the Red Birds, kicks off on Monday...
