NL Central: Lineup implications in Cincy

The Reds went out and got the biggest bat remaining in free agency, reuniting with their former third baseman, Eugenio Suárez, and signing him to a one year, $15 million deal. Suárez hit 49 home runs for the Diamondbacks and Mariners last season. While that power may decline as he enters his 35-year old season, according to Statcast he would have hit 54 home runs in 2025 if all of his games had been played in Great American Ballpark.

Suárez should slot into the middle of a Reds lineup that looks like it would be capable of scoring a bunch of runs at any ballpark. While he played most of his games at third base over his career, that won't be an option in Cincinnati with defensive stalwart Ke'Bryan Hayes at the hot...
