NL Central: Could Luis Lara be the solution to the Brewers injury issues in the outfield?

After a scorching hot start to the baseball season, the Brewers have fallen off a bit losing six of their last seven games. They've had a number of injuries to key players, and this week DH Christian Yelich joined Jackson Chourio on the injured list. As a result, the Brewers have basically emptied their 40-man roster for outfield talent by calling up 28-year old Greg Jones this week.

Jones is a toolsy athlete with 80-grade speed. He's stolen 46 bases as recently as 2024 in AAA while playing for Colorado. A number of injuries limited his playing time to 86 MiLB plate appearances and two MLB plate appearances with the White Sox in 2025.
