NL Central: Bubba Chandler arrives...as a reliever?

It's been a stormy season in the Steel City with silver lining of Paul Skenes starts. One of the darker clouds looks like it may finally be lifting, however, with rookie pitcher Bubba Chandler finally getting the call up to the MLB roster.

Of course, this is the Pirates, so they've managed to complicate what should be one of the more joyous days for fans in a bleak season. Chandler, who dazzled in Spring Training and looked like he should claim a rotation spot early in the season, has faltered in Triple-A down the stretch. In six starts since July 18 he's struggled over 26.2 innings with a 7.42 ERA, 28 strikeouts and 16 walks. 

It's such a Pirates move to turn what should have been the marquee moment of their season...
