AL West: Butler finding continued success in Oakland

The A’s have been a team full of platoons this season, but currently, they are locked into six regulars in their lineup with three standard platoons. The right field platoon between Lawrence Butler and Tyler Nevin is presently showcasing some nice fantasy appeal, with Butler finding his swing in his latest return.

Butler was recalled from Triple-A on June 18, and after struggling out of the gate, he began to hit. Butler has hit safely in six of his last eight games for a .308 batting average. He has three home runs with an impressive 29.4% barrel rate and 52.9% hard-hit rate. He still strikes out too much, however, with a 33.3% strikeout rate and 32% O-Swing.
