Coming off a dismal 2025 season (.205/.226/.304 in 180 PA) while splitting time between Texas and Seattle, Leody Taveras latched on with the Orioles on a one-year, $2M contract. Coming into the season, Taveras looked likely to fill a reserve role with Baltimore; while this was the case to open the year, Taveras quickly became a regular in Baltimore thanks to injuries and ineffectiveness in the team’s outfield.
