AL East: Could Warren be squeezed from NYY's rotation?

New York’s starting rotation has suffered significant losses this spring with the injuries to Luis Gil (out at least three months due to a lat strain) and Gerrit Cole (out for the season due to Tommy John surgery).  The team’s depth has also taken several hits during spring. JT Brubaker, who was slated to fill a swingman role with New York, suffered three broken ribs while attempting to avoid a comebacker in his first spring game and is currently without a timetable to return. Additionally, prospect Chase Hampton underwent Tommy John surgery in late February, removing him as an option for 2025.
