AL Central: Robert Jr. nearing return

Chicago White Sox

Luis Robert Jr. seems to be progressing well in his recovery from a hamstring strain. He ran the bases and took part in BP on July 2, and while it's not clear if he'll be ready to return on Sunday when first eligible, he shouldn't be out much longer. If he can prove that he's healthy, there will surely be trade rumors involving him leading up to the trade deadline.

Michael A. Taylor had started four straight games before Robert went down and has now moved over to center field on most days. Though he is hitting just .214 with a 59% ct%, he still provides some fantasy juice with his power and speed, as he now has 4 HR and 7 SB in 178 PA. But given his age and the team's record, he may not be a lineup regular for long.
