Tucker's IL stint brings Loperfido back to Houston

NEWS: Houston placed Kyle Tucker on the 10-day IL (bruised shin) and recalled OF/1B Joey Loperfido.
IMPACT: Low
BHQ SPIN: Expect a near-minimum IL stint for Tucker, as he recovers from fouling a ball off his shin earlier in the week. Loperfido returns to the Astros in the corresponding move. As for who gets Tucker’s playing time, we didn’t get a clear answer last night: Yainer Diaz got the DH start, with Yordan Alvarez grabbing his OF glove. Notably, Trey Cabbage has been taking ABs in LF from Chas McCormick, who has been cold since coming off the IL. Expect McCormick and Loperfido to split Tucker’s usual RF starts for the next week. PT% adjustments: Cabbage +5%, Tucker -5%.
