NEWS: PIT recalled SP Osvaldo Bido and place RP Carmen Mlodzinski on the injured list.

BHQ SPIN: Mlodzinski had become an effective member of the PIT bullpen, picking up 3 holds in 23.2 IP, He has 21 K/13 BB and opponents were hitting .198 against him. Bido had been a mainly member of the rotation but will be used in long relief for now. Mgr Derek Shelton said the door isn’t closed for Bido to rejoin the rotation this season. Andre Jackson, who was acquired from LA in June and recalled Aug. 4, was scheduled to start Saturday but the game was postponed.
