Angels | Shohei Ohtani to miss start of season
Los Angeles Angels RHP/DH Shohei Ohtani (elbow) will not be ready for the start of the 2019 season but did have a positive checkup with his surgeon, according to general manager Billy Eppler. Ohtani has been cleared for full strengthening rehab but has yet to swing a bat during his recovery.   Source: MLB.com - Rhett Bollinger
 
BHQ take: Not a surprise; right now we're projecting (guessing at) an early / mid-May return. Depending on how that plays our and how Ohtani's throwing rehab program might impact his DH AB, we could still be a tad high on our current 430...
