| BHQ take: According to his manager, Montero will start mostly against LHP, and will mostly DH. He'll get AB previously allocated to a few different Mariners, including recently DL'ed Michael Saunders. Montero has been just-okay at Triple-A, posting an .800 OPS (which is not far above the league average), and he's only homered once since early May. His 77% contact rate and 0.51 Eye leave something to be desired as well.... |
