NEWS: The Rangers activated C Jonah Heim from the IL and optioned C Sam Huff to Triple-A.

IMPACT: High

BHQ SPIN: The best possible outcome for Heim, who missed on the low side of his initial prognosis following a wrist tendon sheath sprain. Reports suggest that Heim will only bat left-handed for now, which puts less strain on the still-mending wrist. That means hot-hitting Mitch Garver will continue to see plenty of action both behind the plate and at DH, with Austin Hedges serving as a backup when Heim or Garver DH’s. Heim will take AB from the likes of Huff and Robbie Grossman.
