Cardinals | Paul DeJong on injured list
St. Louis Cardinals INF Paul DeJong (rib) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday, May 14, because of a fractured rib. The team also recalled INF Max Moroff from Class AAA Memphis and transferred RHP Jordan Hicks (elbow) to the 60-day injured list.   Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: An MRI showed DeJong has a fractured rib. It’s not clear how much time he will miss, but we’ve reduced his projected at-bats by about 15%. Between 2016 and 2019, Moroff batted 213 times. He had a .188 xBA, but did hit seven homers and compile a 136 xPX. While Moroff may get some playing time...
