Blue Jays | Colby Rasmus to DL
Toronto Blue Jays OF Colby Rasmus (oblique) has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique strain. The move is retroactive to Monday, Aug. 12. Kevin Pillar has been recalled, although no formal announcement has been made. The Jays also dealt Emilio Bonifácio to the Kansas City Royals today, so Anthony Gose could be on his way as well. Toronto may be tempted to give Pillar a shot since many believe he's earned it. Gose has more upside in the long term, however.  Source: Toronto Blue Jays Twitter
