Street headed to DL with lat injury
The lat injury suffered by Huston Street (RHP, SD) that forced him to leave Friday's extra-inning loss to MIA after two-thirds of an inning will land him on the 15-day disabled list. It was originally feared to be a shoulder issue given Street's mannerisms prior to exiting, but it looks as if he's averted any sort of long-term absence. Street has been injury-prone in the past, as shown by his D health grade, so owners who were hedging their bets with setup man Andrew Cashner (RHP, SD) are likely going to "cash in," figuratively speaking.
