BHQ take: Talk about hedging your bets. Ramirez jammed his thumb during the WBC final on Tuesday March 19, and it looks like he'll at least miss Opening Day. The ripple affects will likely depend on the extent of his injury. Ramirez owners should stay tuned.  —Jock Thompson
