Giants | Brandon Belt might be used in OF
The San Francisco Giants made an organizational decision before spring training to have 1B Brandon Belt concentrate only on first base and not the outfield. However, C Buster Posey (legs) has needed to play first base rather than squatting behind the dish at catcher, forcing Belt and his bat out of the lineup. Manager Bruce Bochy said he and Belt discussed Sunday, June 30, about Belt doing some outfield work.  Source: San Francisco Chronicle - Henry Schulman
