NEWS: Lefty Joey Wentz has torn the ACL in his right knee and will miss the entire 2026 season.
IMPACT: Medium
BHQ SPIN: Wentz was in the mix for a spot in the Atlanta rotation prior to suffering the injury. Other candidates for the rotation include José Suarez and rookies Didier Fuentes and JR Ritchie. Lucas Giolito is still available, but at this writing, there’s been no indication that the Braves will turn into that direction.
