NEWS: Baltimore acquired RHP Zach Eflin from Tampa Bay in exchange for prospects Matthew Etzel, Jackson Baumeister, and Mac Horvath.

BHQ SPIN: The addition of Eflin gives a Baltimore team which has suffered several starting pitching injuries during the season some stability in the middle of its rotation. Following the demotion of Cade Povich before the All-Star Break and the demotion of Chayce McDermott after he made a spot start on Wednesday, Baltimore only had four starting pitchers on its active roster. Thus, it appears that Eflin will move into the vacant rotation spot when he is added to the active roster. The possibility still exists that Baltimore could acquire another starting...
