Skenes aims to get back on track vs. the Halos

Today’s Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full slate of 15 games this Sunday. First pitch is at 12:10pm ET when the Reds host the Brewers. There are two evening games on the docket (MIN@CWS, WSH@LA), with the Chicago matchup getting flexed in for Sunday Night Baseball. Weather-wise, it’s clear skies all around.

Paul Skenes has been riding the struggle bus of late. In his last five starts, he holds a 4.32 ERA (4.47 xERA) with 23/12 K/BB in 25 IP. Both his ball and strikeout percentages went in the wrong direction in that stretch (10% K-BB%), with Skenes’ 21% K% a nine-point drop from his previous mark on the year.
