Sears looks to extend White Sox losing streak

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: There are only nine games on this Monday slate. First pitch comes at 5:15pm ET with the Cardinals hosting the Mets. Rain could be a factor in the Diamondbacks-Guardians and Twins-Cubs.

Notable Starts:

JP Sears is the second-rated pitcher today despite a 4.63 xERA in 119 IP this season. The opposing White Sox are approaching a record-breaking losing streak and by no surprise their offense has been silent. Since the All-Star break, they are 0-16, averaging 2.4 runs per game with a .197 BA and .563 OPS. Across Sears' last six starts, three have resulted in a PQS-DOM, including a PQS-5 in his last start. In those six starts he has a 3.31 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 36 K in 35 IP.
