Sánchez to scale the Rockies on Wednesday

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Thanks to a doubleheader between the White Sox and Royals, we have 16 games on tap. Most games are day games, and outside of that storm that left Chicago, we should be in the clear today unless it gets too far east. Some solid pitchers are on the schedule today, with only a few totals of nine runs or higher. 

 

Notable Starts:

Cristopher Sánchez is coming off a quality start and on the season has allowed six earned runs over 15.1 innings with 15 strikeouts. He has seven walks, which needs to be improved, but there’s a lot to like with the start of Sánchez’s season. He gets a nice matchup today versus the road Rockies, who are striking out 23% of the time versus LHP with a .227 average and 71 wRC+....
