Reynaldo to go Fishing on Wednesday
Apr 24 2024
Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have 15 games on tap, starting with a few day games. Rain appears out of the forecast, so we should be ready with all 15. There is a lot of mediocre to lousy pitching today, reflected in at least five games with nine runs or higher totals.
Notable Starts:
Reynaldo López has been outstanding to start the season, with six innings pitched in all three starts and only one earned run allowed. Lopez has a 0.50 ERA to go with a 3.84 xFIP, and 18 strikeouts over the 18 innings for a 17.8% K-BB and 9.9% SwStr. Lopez has another nice matchup today versus a Marlins team that has struck out 22.6% of the time versus RHP this season while hitting .238 with a .122 ISO. Lopez has a 0.5 overall rating.
