Ray aims to sink the Mariners

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: There's good reason to be selective today, with just seven starts rating in the green despite a full slate of action. The Tigers start the festivities as they host the White Sox, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:10 pm ET. Keep an eye on the following starts that could have weather trouble: NYY@PIT, STL@BOS, and TOR@NYM. We've also got projected 18 mph winds blowing in for BAL@KC, which could affect the long ball.

Robbie Ray's first start was a mixed bag (5.1 IP, 3 ER, 4 K, .75 WHIP). The 15% K-BB and 11% SwStr were lackluster, but the walks were kept in check, mitigating the damage from the two long balls he gave up. Look for more strikeouts in this one as Ray looks to push his K%...
