Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: The last day of the season has an extreme risk of short starts and bullpen games and late lineup adjustments. There is a full slate, with all 15 games scheduled to start between 3:05 and 3:20 ET. The weather looks reasonable everywhere.

 

Notable Starts:

Brady Singer has an unusual line in our metric - his last five pure quality starts have gone 5-4-3-2-1. The projection for this start is the middle the road. With the Reds playoff hopes on the line Sunday, and very likely more urgency in the Reds dugout than the Brewers dugout, he should be set up for success. The 22% K-BB% of August still remains.
