Glasnow gearing up for stretch run

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: There is decent slate of 13 games on this Monday schedule. First pitch comes at 6:40pm ET with the Tigers hosting the Twins. Weather looks good except in Atlanta where there is a likely chance of rain in the MIL@ATL game.

 

Notable Starts:

Tyler Glasnow has made four starts since returning from a two month absence and has tossed a PQS-DOM in two of those while putting up a 2.45 ERA and 1.05 WHIP across 22 IP. He has been excellent in his five home starts this season, going 1-1 with a 2.16 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 33/7 K/BB in 25 IP. The opposing Cardinals are averaging only 3.2 runs per game since the break, while putting up a .234 BA and .667 OPS.
