DAILY MATCHUPS: Olson set up for continued success on Friday

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather. We have a full day of action on tap, which kicks off with the DBacks and Cubs at 2:20 pmEST. There appear to be no threats of rain, so we are in the clear for all 15 games to play. We have some high totals to start the night, with most totals being nine runs or higher, but the evening seems to have some better pitching matchups.

 

Notable Starts:

Reese Olson has been an excellent streaming option in recent weeks, allowing three runs or less in three of his last five starts. More importantly are the strikeouts from Olson, as he has struck out 29 over 24.2 innings for a 17.3% K-BB. Olson takes on a White Sox team that he faced in his last start, and he threw seven shutout innings while striking out one....
