DAILY MATCHUPS: Gausman tabbed among Thursday's best

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Ten games are on Thursday’s schedule. Two of those will be played at Fenway Park, as the Yankees and Red Sox look to close out a strange 0-2-0-2 series in their tussle for fourth place in the AL East. The front half of that double-dip – a day-night doubleheader – will be one of five day games in the league. Thursday’s assigned pitchers are almost exclusively right-handers, so lefty bats figure to be in for a good day. Righties going at home dominate the top of the crop in the Matchup Ratings. Weather-wise, most of the games will be played in cooler conditions that what we have had earlier in the week. Rain could be a problem for the Thursday night SF-COL game in Denver.
