Eovaldi has a good history as a road starter (3.14 ERA since 2021) and is facing a Pittsburgh club that cannot get out of its own way of late (.587 OPS since April 30). The veteran right-hander has been barreled up just 4.3% of the time and has his GB rate at 51%, the would-be highest of his career since 2015.
