Fantasy baseball offers plenty of different formats, venues and competition levels for all levels of baseball fan out there, from the barely casual to the intensely passionate. On the one side and extreme, draft-over leagues provide owners the competitive thrill of auctions, drafts and building a team from scratch, as well the ability to disappear into the summer if their teams suck—and return again the following year, wash/rinse/repeat.
