The 2013 simulation draft pool offers more pitching depth than recent years. Top to bottom, you can find solid long-term options with plenty of help for the current season. The only thing this draft lacks is a usable young full-time closer.
First rounders
Yu Darvish (RHP, TEX) and Matt Moore (LHP, TAM) normally go in the top three or four picks in most simulation drafts. Expect Darvish to perform better in the current season because of a slightly lower batting average against him with fewer homers allowed in a more hitter-friendly park.
