ALTERNATIVE: Pitching tiers in Points leagues, 2015

Each year we examine winning strategies for points leagues. Points leagues provide the instant gratification missing from Roto categories. Since there are so many variations for points leagues, we focus on the basics and allow you to tweak for your own league.  We count one point for a strikeout, fifteen for a Win, and seven for a Save to provide our values.  Of these factors, the most predictable is strikeouts or Dom, so we focus on that category for predictability.  Wins, in particular, can vary widely. So we point out pitchers who possess more risk due to high projected Wins as well as those with win upside potential.
