ALTERNATIVE: Building a DFS lineup with HQ tools: A case study

As we continue to enhance our coverage of Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) strategy, it's important to note the tools we have in place already. As an exercise, in this piece I am going to document the end-to-end process I use to build a DFS lineup, using only BaseballHQ.com tools in the process.

For our subject DFS event, we'll use the Tout Wars Daily competition from Friday, May 15th. Held each Friday night of the season, Tout Daily is a multi-tier industry competition held at FanDuel. There are cash prizes awarded each week, and the season is broken into four-week blocks where aggregate scores over each block are used to award spots in a season-ending final competition for further prizes. Full details here, if you're interested.
