Is LIMA still relevant?

Here are some recent facts about the LIMA Plan:
- It has been around for a long, long time (11 years in fantasy time is forever)
- The more popular it has become, the less effective it has become.
- With each year that passes, memory fades and more people get it wrong
- I have not used the LIMA Plan, as written, for at least four years.
Still, the name endures, my lasting legacy to this industry. And so, when former HQ analyst John Burnson wrote that the LIMA Plan is flawed, one could not help but take notice.
I have a ton of respect for John. In the eight years that he wrote for us, HQ grew in prominence among the research community. He left his own lasting legacy here, not the least of which are the formulas for xBA and...
