STARTERS: Early 2018 targets

Our last SP Buyers Guide column of the regular season aims to help you identify early 2018 targets.

Here are a bunch of starting pitchers in each league that have a good shot at improving significantly in 2018.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

José Berríos (RHP, MIN) has taken a big step forward in 2017 after a rough rookie debut with MIN in 2016. He has posted a 100+ BPV in three of five months. He'll need to make further adjustments to continue on his growth curve, as he isn't getting ahead of hitters in the second half (55% FpK%) and is giving up more hard contact. But at age 23, Berrios remains an excellent target in keeper leagues.

Parker Bridwell (RHP, LAA) has been good in the LAA rotation since July 1 (3.62 ERA, 1.17 WHIP). While his skills...
