STARTERS: Digging deeper

When speculating on starting pitchers, sometimes you need to use alternative methods to identify targets that are not obvious to your competitors.

For example, you might want to speculate on SP with good skills who are in a contract year with the hope that they will have extra motivation to perform at a high level.

Here are the starting pitchers currently scheduled to be unrestricted free agents in 2023, sorted by their projected skills:

  • 90+ BPV (Projected), 2023 Unrestricted Free Agents

                              ------Projected 2022-----
    Name                  Lg  K%   BB%  K-BB%  GB%  BPV
    ====================  ==  ===  ===  =====  ===  ===
