ARSENAL REPORT: Sliding closer to the regular season

This week, we will look at two young pitchers with excellent curveballs, Tyler Glasnow (RHP, TBR) and Lance McCullers (RHP, HOU), who want to add sliders to their repertoires. Now that we are deeper into spring training, we have more video footage from camp that we can use to analyze these new pitches and their possible impact.

Since coming to Tampa Bay in the now infamous 2019 Chris Archer (RHP, TBR) trade, Tyler Glasnow has been among the nastiest SP in the game, ranking only behind his former Pirate teammate Gerrit Cole (RHP, NYY) in K% among SP with at least 100 innings from 2019-2020 at 35.7%.
