It's been a busy week in baseball, with lots of players coming and going. Such movement often opens up opportunities for us to waste FAAB. Yes, I said waste. It's almost a given that any new blood in the free agent pool will be the recipient of an excessive FAAB bid—the latest closer, the rookie up from the minors, or anyone dubbed "the starter" will be doused with FAAB. Meanwhile, the rest of us will be all the better spending where it will count the most. Won't we?
