F/F SPOTLIGHT: Trevor Rogers

... Still just 24, this is a young arm in which to invest.

Our 2022 Baseball Forecaster box on Trevor Rogers (LHP, MIA) was stuffed with glowing reviews after a breakout 2021 season, so this isn't quite how we drew it up. Rogers sports a 5.00 ERA through six starts—none of which have been higher than a PQS-2—and he's yet to rack up more than four strikeouts in a single outing.

Let's take our traditional Facts/Flukes snapshot to see where we need to dive deeper in our first Spotlight article of 2022:

Year   IP   ERA/xERA   BB%/K%  Ball%  SwK  GB/LD/FB  H%/S% HR/F  BPV
====  ===  =========  =======  =====  ===  ========  ===== ====  ===
2020   28  6.11/3.80  10%/30%   37%   13%  47/21/32  40/65  21%  138
2021  133  2.64/3.63   8%/29%  ...
