Odubel Herrera (OF, PHI) burst onto the scene in 2015, making the Phillies that spring as a Rule 5 pick and posting a surprising $20 season. There were flaws in his rookie skill set, but also validation for that level of performance. Then he came back in 2016 and upped the ante: he added power and patience to the speed that drove his rookie value, creating a five-category contributor. That performance earned him a 5-year, $30.5MM contract extension from the Phillies this past offseason.
