Pedroia's 2H spurs optimism ... True to form, Dustin Pedroia (2B, BOS) opted to play through an injury (torn abductor muscle) for much of last season's first half before hitting the DL at the All-Star break. The rest did him good, as he flashed skills similar to his 2008 MVP season from mid-July on.
