Has Abreu met expectations? ... There were many pre-season pundits who, despite the trickiness of a projection, thought José Abreu (1B, CHW), pictured, could be a top hitter right away. They touted his strong production in Cuba compared to other recent Cuban signees like Yoenis Céspedes (OF, OAK) and Yasiel Puig (OF, LA). Were they right about his offensive abilities?
