BATTERS: Going streaking

Maybe moreso than any other time during the season, fantasy owners are tempted to ride the hot hand down the stretch. That is not a bad strategy as long as you’re mindful of the underlying skills of the streaking players. A player on a hot streak despite a decline in skills is different from a player who has seen an uptick in skills to coincide with the improved surface stats.

With that in mind, we’ll take a look at players who have performed well over the past 31 days to see which of them have seen an improvement in their skills and which have seen their skills decline. Obviously, small sample size caveats apply. Don't panic if your established player winds up on the list of decliners.
