Hitters that have posted a good batting average or lofty HR totals in the early-going can be easy to view as guys to hold. After all, we want to accumulate as many good stats as possible while the season is still young.
However, not all of those bats are worth holding, particularly if their BA or HR totals don't come with strong underlying support.
These bats have an actual BA that is much higher than their expected BA (xBA):
