BATTERS: Early deep league targets, 2022

As we did with starting pitchers this past weekend, let's help you target where to spend your speculative dollars on hitters if you play in a very competitive or deep league.

Here are a bunch of bats in each league that could be worth pursuing in deep formats.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Zack Collins (C/DH, TOR) has been a sneaky good backup catcher early in 2022. He has delivered production in bursts, and his batted ball quality keeps suggesting there is opportunity for more (93.9 mph EV, 12.5% Brl%). Cutting down the holes in his swing would help him be more consistent (56% ct%).
