Jameson Taillon increased the cutter usage

Jameson Taillon moved off and on fantasy rosters with awful results, evidenced by the 6.93 ERA, yet a 4.91 xERA. After using the cutter 11.3% of the time in 2022, Taillon nearly doubled its usage to 21%. He bumped the cutter usage about 9-10 percentage points from 2022 against both sides of the plate.

Interestingly, the results against Taillon's cutter haven't fared well, as seen above. That's especially so against left-handed hitters, with a .476 wOBA (2023) versus a .303 wOBA (2022).
