Aaron Nola typically profiles as an innings-eating ace most seasons, though he has not lived up to expectations in 2023. But, he may finally be turning the corner; Nola has pitched well in July, with a 3.25 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, 28% K-BB%, and a 13.2% SwK in 27.2 innings.

Historically, Nola uses four pitches at a double-digit rate, with the four-seam and curveball leading the way. However, Nola bumped the curveball usage to 32% from 26.5% in 2022. He also lowered the four-seamer a few points from 33.4% (2022) to 27.7% (2023).
