MINORS: Overhyped prospects

Last's week's column focused on eight prospects who are relatively underhyped or underrated. This week, we shine a light on seven prospects who may be getting too much hype. Note that the following players are still legitimate prospects who have bright futures. But several are likely high on top prospect lists and may not have the skill set or pedigree to back up their lofty rankings. These players are still very much on course to reach the big leagues—however, we should temper our enthusiasm a little.

Andrew Chafin (LHP, ARI)
Selected in the supplemental first round of the '11 draft, the 23-year-old has put together a solid career thus far. Chafin pitched the entire '12 campaign in High-A and returned there to begin the '13 season....
