MINORS: The Eyes Have It—Tejay Antone & Thomas Hatch

The first week of the season is coming to a close. We have 4 teams who haven’t played since Sunday due to the Marlins COVID-19 outbreak. We have several players on and off the injured list, some due to injuries and some due to positive COVID tests. I’m in awe of the work of others on this site, like the PT Today folks and the Callups folks, who have often scrambled to provide top notch analysis on a flurry of transaction activity. 

This was expected. In several BHQ minor league articles, we’ve prepared you for the onslaught of rookies into significant roles this year. Even then, until the season went live, the impact of the short lead up to the season, coupled with the virus impacts, couldn’t be simulated.
